Meet the Wolves U11 Girls Ball Hockey Team
The Wolves girls U11 ball hockey team is in their first season competing in the co-ed BHE division. They are the first and only all-girls team in this division!!
The team opened their season with a close game that finished 5–5 in overtime. It was a strong start for this team, showing early on that they can compete and stay in the game until the end.
In their next game, the Wolves faced the Lions. The girls continued to compete hard and came away with a 4–1 loss. The score didn’t fully reflect the effort they put on the court though, the girls won many of the battles for the ball along the boards, even against bigger opponents, and they created great chances but could not always finish, those few missed opportunities could have changed the outcome of the game.
Overall, this Wolves team is learning and growing each game, proving they belong every time they step on the court.
A strong start for this team, and this is only the beginning!
