Capping of a great first season 🤩

Jr. Wolves is the stepping stone from Free to Play (our daily afterschool program) to the Wolves Athletic Club (our competitive sports program). The kids are learning what it is like to practice as a team with top coaches, and play structured games with real referees and FIFA rules.

The first season of the Jr. Wolves program was wild, fun, and packed with goals! With the kiddos from all schools scoring 357 goals across 27 games! The season ended with two final games between some great schools.

  • In the boys’ final, Delton beat Homesteader 9–3 in a great matchup between the first two schools to join the program. Both teams showed how much they improved over the season, playing a fast, physical, and competitive game. In the end, Delton came out on top by being more effective in front of the net.🥅🥇

  • The girls’ final was an intense, gritty, and even match between Delton and Callingwood. Both teams fought hard and gave it their all to win this match, truly a nail-biter! In the end, Callingwood took first place. 🥇

For many of them, this was their first competitive experience in soccer, their first chance to be part of a team, practice consistently, build their skills, and compete for a trophy and a medal, and just look at how much it means to them. Even something as simple as receiving a medal can feel like the world to a kiddo!

Overall, the first Jr. Wolves season laid a strong foundation, showcasing real growth, competition, and excitement that will only continue to build in the seasons ahead.
