Exposure to Multiple Sports

Kids try basketball, soccer, hockey, and flag football — all in one program. No experience needed.

At Free Play, kids don't just play one sport — they try them all. Over the course of the year, participants get hands-on time with basketball, soccer, hockey, and flag football, regardless of their experience level or athletic background. That variety matters because kids often don't know what they love until they've tried it. A kid who walks in thinking they hate sports sometimes leaves as the first one to volunteer for next week's game. By exposing children to a range of activities, we give them a better shot at finding the one that clicks and a reason to keep showing up.
