Take My Picture!

“Hey camera man, take my picture!” On repeat.

It’s the second Game Day of the year uniting kids from all the schools in each region across Edmonton, competing for bragging rights in a mini-tournament, and a chance to practice the social emotional curriculum they have been learning all week in Free to Play after school programming.

This week the kids at the @edmontonreccentres ACT Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Rundle Park are so excited about an afternoon of ball hockey, and the camera making the first appearance of the year, they are desperate to capture a photo.

Hence, “hey camera man, take my picture!” On repeat.

Our hockey pathway powered by the @oil_foundation often starts here on a gym floor with a plastic stick in our Free to Play programming.

And for the record, it is unanimous amongst fans on this gym floor on this particular day, the #Oilers are destined for the cup final 😂 🧡💙
