So it's, it's been hard.

My name is Mesia. It's been a year and four months. We actually came from Africa, so we’re newcomers. He's my first one to come into Free Play. But, you know, the environment in Africa is active and children are always playing on the outside.

It was a big change because now we always have to be indoors and everything. So we're really looking for something that will keep him active. Because now we're able to save at least some of that money now goes to the food and making sure the kids are taken care of. Because I’ve got five so.

I really tried. I've tried taking them to the park and everything. It's not the same because it's me. They want to be involved in sports with other children. It's better if, if he's with Free Play. The cost, and at least my child now is exposed, he’s got other children. You know the basketball, because he's excited when he comes home

He would, always told me about the new sports that he's learned in school. And he’s got asthma. Less coughing, less of all those things, because now he is more active. Definitely he really loves it. He has actually met a lot of children from different places, even when they go out on Thursdays too, other schools in here. So it's, it's really been positive for him.

Our ✨ Parentemonials 💫 series will focus on sharing stories from families that benefit from Free Play For Kids!
