This 4-Hour online certification training will provide you with the background and knowledge on becoming an effective Caring Leader by understanding the core Principles of Healthy Child Development as identified by High Five. After taking this course, you will have a greater understanding of how the five principles, as well as how to use them to improve your current programming. 

Please note: As this is certification training, a device with access to a working camera, microphone, speaker and internet connection will be required. A Zoom link will be provided in advance via email.

Since its inception in 1994, the HIGH FIVE® standard and related tools, training materials and processes have been continually refined with input from sport and recreation professionals as well as experts in fields of healthy child development, quality assurance and quantitative and qualitative research
